Dear Parent/Guardian,
On Tuesday 25th June, the Fakenham ‘Cluster Schools’ (Blenheim Park Academy, Fakenham Infant School, Fakenham Junior School, Rudham CofE Primary Academy, Stibbard All Saints, Fakenham Academy Norfolk, Colkirk, Sculthorpe, West Raynham, Little Snoring) are holding an event at Fakenham Academy Norfolk. The aim of this evening will be raise awareness of the dangers our children face online, in all phases of education. We as Headteachers believe that this is a growing concern for young people of all ages today.
At the event, we will have a guest speaker from the National Education Union (Scott Lyons), who is known country wide for his expertise and status as an advocate for online safety and children’s education.
During this evening we will aim to highlight the dangers young people face online, and educate parents as to how best they might combat these. We will also hear the personal viewpoint from students at both Key Stage 2 and 3.
This is the first event we are running as the Fakenham Cluster Schools and would welcome attendance from all parents in the area, not just those who happen to have children in our institutions. Please do share this letter and the details of the event with anyone you feel may benefit from attending.
Yours sincerely,
